Matthew Lesko, the man who would be joker! I love this guy, he runs around wearing a suit with big question marks all over it screaming about how he can get you all this free money from the government. Matthew Lesko says that you can get money to pay your bills, start a business, write a book, and more. All of these things qualify to receive money in the form of grants or low interest rate loans from our government. However, it is not as easy as Mr. Lesko makes it sound.

First of all the information he provides in his $60.00 book is readily found at many government agencies. Second it takes months and mountains of paperwork to receive these monies. There is an application process that takes forever to get thru and on top of that the government has strict qualifications on those that can receive these funds. If you are someone that can receive a loan from a traditional lender do not expect to receive any type of grant from the government. Many of these grants require a 50% match in funding for start up businesses. So if you want $10,000 you must be able to put up $10,000 in the form of cash or loan. Sometimes they will allow you to use existing facilities or real property as your match. Mr. Lesko never tells you that in his infomercials if he did you probably wouldn't order.

What really gets to me is that he just basically takes all of this information and puts it in a book on where you can find this free money. He fails to tell any of his readers on how you can actually get the money. He does not provide any step by step process on how to fill out the applications. To let you know how difficult this can be there are professionals that make their living by preparing grant applications for businesses, associations, and educational institutions. When you file for these grants you are competing against businesses and associations that do this all of the time and know how to work the system.

I am not telling you that getting grants from the government is impossible I am just letting you know that it is no cake walk. The process is highly competitive and time consuming. If you want money to pay your bills, start a business, or just extra cash I would suggest looking into some online opportunities. They can be started at low costs and can be very lucrative.

Do not fall into the Matthew Lesko trap. I have been caught in those traps before and spent thousands of dollars on internet biz ops that have produced zip.
