NSA - Juice Plus+

National Safety Associates (NSA) is located in Memphis, TN and was started in 1970. The company originally started producing and marketing smoke detectors and smoke alarms. In the 1990's they moved into the water filtration business and began promoting water filters. Currently, NSA is the sole promoter of Juice Plus+ products that are manufactured by Natural Alternatives International.

The company currently operates in several different countries including the US, Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, and Japan to name a few. So the company has a global presence and they are stable as noted by 30 + years in business!

Although NSA still markets water filters and smoke detectors their primary product is the full line of Juice Plus+ products. The product line is comprised of capsules, chewables, and gummies (recommended for children). Juice Plus is a nutritional supplement that is composed of 17 different fruits and vegetables and two capsules a day is equivalent to a full day of fruit and vegetable consumption. The company does not recommend that you use Juice Plus in place of your daily recommended intake of fruits and vegetables. The product is recommended as a nutritional supplement to enhance your wellness and lifestyle.

The product is rather expensive but that is not out of the ordinary for MLMs. Juice Plus maintains that they have a unique "flash drying" technique that makes their product superior to similar products on the market. I am not going to get into all of the technical information on how the product is made. Our emphasis needs to be on is this a viable business opportunity?

As far as MLMs go Juice Plus+ really does not offer anything significantly different than other nutritional based Network Marketing Companies. My research shows that the company has a somewhat spotty reputation and has had some problems with the British Government over some advertising issues. But I should say that is about the only real negative that I have been able to dig up!

When you add it all up you have a company with over 30 years in business that pays out over 30% in real commissions. However, the company is less than a 100 million dollar per Year Company and it is difficult to go fulltime right away.

I have had emails from several people asking about this business. My recommendation is that there are better MLMs available and you should really think about Juice Plus+ before you join. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would have to give Juice Plus+ a 5.
