Nikken
Nikken is a wellness based company that was started in Japan in 1976. The company operates in Japan, Europe, and the United States. Nikken enjoys most of its sales from the US and Japan, the later country is where it has its largest market share. Nikken has based its business structure on a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. It has broken its business philosophy into 5 segments or 5 pillars of success.
- A healthy body.
- A healthy mind.
- A healthy family.
- A healthy society.
- A healthy economy.
The Nikken Company markets a wide variety of wellness products and most of them are based on magnetism. A few examples are nutritional products, video of their philosophies, and other health related products like water purifiers and energizers (for your shower).
Nikken is a traditional MLM business with really two ways to make money. The first being direct sales of the company's products. The second being member recruitment. To be successful with Nikken, like any other MLM, you want to build a large highly active downline that makes a large amount of sales. Once you have that type of structure below you in the hierarchy you can make money with very little work. The reason is you get paid commissions or overrides on all the sales made in your downline. You can make money with out ever recruiting a single person just by making product sales. However, you would have to make a lot of sales to equate to a large, active downline.
The problem I have with Nikken is the same one I have with EcoQuest and that is their marketing techniques. Nikken is riding a thin line on their marketing practices by making false and misleading claims about the healing benefits of their products on certain medical conditions. The have been ban from advertising in Norway for this very reason. The company has not been able to provide any actual medical studies to validate their claims. That is just something that I do not want to be a part of! No Thank You!!
I would advise you not to participate in this business venture. I just feel that they are playing with fire when it comes to how they market their products. You certainly do not want to get started marketing a company's products and then get shut out by some government agency. If you are interested in MLM then you can find another company that has honest marketing practices and quality products.
Two thumbs down for Nikken.
