Xango
Xango is a direct marketing company that markets liquid nutritional supplements and is located in Draper, UT. The company has been in business since 2003 and was started by two brothers, Joe and David Gordon, along with a friend and business partner, Aaron Garrity. Xango has become a global business that has built a solid reputation with a quality product.
Xango's primary product is a nutritional drink made from the Southeast Asian fruit mangosteen. Mangosteen contains natural antioxidants that are stated to aid in the protection against free radicals. Xango has done a good job of marketing their product and places an emphasis on their product sales vs. recruitment.
The only thing that I can point out about Xango that I see as a problem is that they have not been in business the minimum 5 years that I like to see. Additionally, do not expect to make this a full time job right away; however, it can lead to a full time income.
There is a one-time $35 dollar start up fee and a minimum monthly charge of either $100 (for the Standard Plan) or a $200 (for the Family Plan). The product runs about $100 per case so the Standard Plan is purchasing about 1 case per month.
The company provides good support to its distributors and provides for the possibility of a full time income. The market the company operates in is huge and getting bigger every year creating an opportunity for new distributors. People interested need to understand that this is a direct sales business so that means cold calls and marketing to strangers.
They have built a solid reputation and have a quality product. I think that counteracts the fact that they have not been in business for as long as I like to see. I am not particularly thrilled about the mandatory monthly purchases either! Overall they are a solid company so let's see how they stack up?
