Russ Whitney

Russ Whitney is another marketing guru that has authored books such as, "Overcoming the Hurdles and Pitfalls of Real Estate Investing" and "Building Wealth". He operates a wealth building and educational training company called the Whitney Education Group. He offers a start up kit called the "Millionaire Mentor" that he offers as a free gift if you attend one of his seminars. I have bought courses from several different real estate guru's and it seems like they are all giving you the same type of outdated information on how to locate, buy, and market depressed properties with no money down. I do not find Russ to be any different or have anything new to offer.

In my opinion his writing is rather boring and he tends to give me too much information on his background. I do not know about you but if I spend my hard earned money on an educational course I do not want a third of the book taken up by how hard the author's childhood was. I want the thing jammed pack with strategies, money making tactics, and marketing techniques; not an autobiography. I think Russ is probably a lot like other real estate guru's in the sense that he probably makes more money selling his books and courses than he does actually trading real estate.

The biggest void I found in his course was that it really lacked the details that a beginning real estate investor would need to get a good start. Most people that buy these courses are people that know absolutely nothing or very little about real estate. These types of people need the kinds of details that will take them by the hand a walk them step by step thru the processes to start and finish a real estate deal. General theory is not good enough, that is for more experienced investors.

I am the type of person that like to read and think that you can take home something that you can use from every publication. There are lessons to be learned from Russ's real estate courses and I would not warn you to stay away from them. I just feel that there are better sources available. In my years online researching "Get Rich Quick" scams 98% of the programs have proven to be useless.

Surprisingly, enough I did find some programs that are run by real business owners that can put extra money in your pocket each month. They each have the potential to create full-time income from home. These programs actually had a large percentage of their membership making money. I realized that I had found a couple of diamonds in the rough.

I would hurry though because they are filling up fast. The owners are afraid that they may have to shut off the membership so they can serve everyone in a professional manner. Their staff is already stretched thin!

Whatever you do **DO NOT** buy or pay to join either/both of these programs until you have tried all of the other "Get Rich Quick" programs out there and are unsatisfied with them, as you and I both **KNOW** you will be.
